At first everything was OK then she started calling me a liar even when I had documented proof I was telling the truth but she refuses to listen and she made my son very uncomfortable because he didn't upstand the question she kept rolling her eyes and he refuses to continue with her.

Saw her for Pediatric Psychology in 2002. She incorrectly diagnosed me with Disruptive Behavior Disorder, aka Conduct Disorder. This diagnosis was given because I "talked back" to authority figures. That's not what DBD, that's a diagnosis for children who torture animals, are abusive, and set things on fire - none of which I would ever do. I was not a violent child and only expressed frustration at being constantly bullied. My parents were NOT informed of this diagnosis either and she tried to pass me off with, "a touch of autism" too. What is "a touch of autism"? You either have it or you don't, which I also do not have. No other psychologist addressed this diagnosis and I was only treated for Anxiety and Depression going forward. I have tried to have DBD removed from my medical records but it is a difficult process. All other providers agree that I do not nor ever had DBD. It is horrifying to me that this kind of diagnosis is in my medical records.

Dr. Esteban-Ellie goes above and beyond for her clients. My child adores her and respond well with her. I highly recommend Dr. Esteban-Ellie.

Very painful and stressful experience. Hard to get an appointment--waited 3 months for first appointment. Appointment times were limited and difficult to fit with our schedule. While therapy can be difficult, in the initial stages, it seemed ridiculous to stress and actually insult the child more. Child did not want to go back after a few sessions. Not the support and help that we were looking for.
