This woman verbally abused a teenager seeking help for an STD after being sexually coerced by a 22 year old man. She was judgmental, crude, and engaged in the most disturbing victim blaming I had ever seen. I never would’ve thought the most traumatic part of contracting an STD as a result of sexual trauma would be SEEKING TREATMENT FOR THE INFECTION FROM A DOCTOR. The experience was appalling. I suffered with excruciating vaginal pain that wasn’t relieved in the slightest by even 3-4 doses of pain medication for WEEKS because her biases and prejudice kept her from effectively treating a patient and being able to objectively analyze the situation. She had the audacity to talk to my mother as if I wasn’t in the room, starting a sentence by telling her “Well, if she actually isn’t having sex with anyone else...” News flash: My mom knew I wasn’t having sex! She believed me! And I was in pain so excruciating that I cried every time I peed! Why would I be having sex??????
