She told me my Interstitial Cystitis was "psychological" and said I should rub vitament E oil on myself for vaginal dryness, that I don't have... What I have is intinse pain and urgency, and she failed to give me the referral I asked for, but I did receive an unwanted referral for a psychiatrist. It turns out, now that I have seen a specialist, that I do have IC, like my previous doctor had suspected. I have a history of depression and she just assumed that meant I didn't know my body.
