Dr Nakashima was my physical therapist for more than a year after my surgery on my broken collarbone. He is an excellent professional who helped me fully recover the movement of my shoulder. He chose the exercises carefully, matching it to the recovery phase, yet always pushing it a little further. He was constantly checking with me during the exercises that they were within my tolerance level. He understood well the mechanics of the body and explained to me many times why we were doing certain exercises. He is a great communicator in general, and he was always accommodating to my needs. When we had to skip our regular session he made sure that I had written instructions to do my exercises by myself. His patience and positive attitude was definitely an important factor in my recovery process.

I’ve worked with a lot of physical therapists over the years for a variety of issues. Dr. Nakashima is one of my favorite two! He recently was the most instrumental part of my journey after unexpected surgery. With a holistic approach, Dr. Nakashima helped me become better than before. He’s attentive to where I am physically AND emotionally while always challenging me to move forward. He’s skillful, creative, assertive, safe and charming. He’ll be my go-to for years to come.

After a string of bad experiences with other Physical Therapists, I was referred to Dr. Nakashima. After the first visit I walked away for the first time in months, pain free. If you are serious about living without pain and avoiding more invasive modalities of treatment go see Dr. Nakashima. If I could give him ten stars I would! He is professional and an incredible diagnostician.

Dr. Nakashima is an exceptional physical therapist. I have had two surgeries and each required PT, first at home and then after I returned to work so I worked with four different therapists. Sheldon's knowledge level and skill set was on an entirely different level than the other three. His advanced training enabled him to help me recover faster and he taught me how to continue the process myself after we completed our work. He is also a great guy who is funny and easy to get along with.
