She has made a world of difference in my mental health. She is willing to prescribe medication, but she sees meds as part of a package of tools to use.

I was seeing her for a while. I rescheduled an appointment due to illness. They called and canceled that as she was going out of town for 2 weeks. Then I got a bill for a missed appointment I never knew I had when we had discussed at length I was having major anxiety about finances. I called and left messages trying to pay the bill, schedule another appointment. Never got a call back. I was left with no mental health care provider, no meds, nothing. I was seeing another counselor there as well, she never returned my calls either. Left me in a very bad situation for a year trying to find new mental health providers.

Terrible. Told me I had asymptomatic adhd and had me take adderall when I was depressed. Then told me I was difficult and would not take my meds. The worst experience I could imagine.

This provider is unprofessional. It is inappropriate for her to be sharing personal Anti-military opinions particularly with a veteran client. This is not trauma-informed therapy, nor is it compassionate. This creates a hostile environment for those already having a hard time seeking help.

I told her my meds don't work so she prescribed me more meds that don't work on top of it. Every time I call I get an answering machine. The one tone I left a message they called me back while I was at work and did not answer when I kept trying to call back for the rest of the day. Now I am stuck on these medications that I don't need. Don't trust doctors.

One would think as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, she would have an open mind to suffering patients, but she does not. I would recommend that you look elsewhere for a compassionate healthcare provider.

My son had an emergency and suddenly I was very scared for him. She got us in the next day and working 48 hrs I did not fear he may harm himself. And I like the fact that she is very cautious with not over prescribing and she has recommended so many supplements as well. I Have never been comfortable with this kind of thing. But I feel at ease taking my son here. Julie James.

I can't even begin to tell you how Shannon has completely changed my life as. I went to her suffering panic attacks, anxiety & depression. Also to find out with genetic testing that I have ADHD(which made my whole life make more sense!). She was so incredibly easy to talk to and made me feel that she genuinely cares about me and my well being. She has helped me find the right medication and coping skills to make my life SO much better and I can't thank her enough for all she's done to help me!!

INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL! She's supposed to be a psychiatric nurse practitioner and yet she caused much distress on my husband. After a 25 min appointment, she calls my husband accusing him of stealing her prescription pad. She then proceeded to tell him she was going to call the police and tell them it was him. My poor husband had an anxiety attack. Hours later, she calls back. No apology, but she lets us know that she found her missing prescription pad. We WILL NOT be returning to see her!
