-impersonated another business VisionWorks-lied about being in network for my healthcare provider-lied about charges being covered by said healthcare provider-submitted to insurance incorrectly at least twice now-wrote my script for my contacts incorrectly-made fun of me for doing my best to put contacts in-had me wait for over 2 hours with an appointment and without explanation-failed to provide itemized receipt until recently-tacked on $175 ludacris administrative fees (another $25 fee for not paying after 4 business days)-locked the front door while I was still in the building without my knowledge nor consent

I have no quarrel with the Doctor's qualifications, she seems more than competent at her job.However, she is absolutely condescending to my elderly partner. She treats him like a child with her verbal drivel.He is always being billed at $25 per billing for some phantom service that he hasn't participated in. He has canceled several visits that they continue to schedule without his permission.He texts them that he's changed doctors and will not be returning to their office. They continue to ignore this and charge him another $25. The statement this week says he has a $25 charge due for over 120 days. This is a false statement. Each time he's received these charges he has paid them. The last one about six weeks ago. I keep telling him to go into the office and get a written receipt with a paid in full status. He is very hesitant because he doesn't hear well even with his hearing aids depending on background noise.This office is taking advantage of him!

I am not one to publicly review like this, but people should be warned. Do not go to this place. This is a total scam. My daughter went in for a routine eye exam and was billed almost $1500. They don’t return calls or are helpful in any way. They will bill your insurance for unnecessary “medical” exams. When we went to the office to get more information on the tests and why the bill was so much we were told she signed papers and that was that. Also they tacked on a late fee less than 30 days from receiving the bill. Also the front desk called the police because we filmed the conversation. Read other reviews. Sounds like this is very common for this establishment.

I've worn contacts my entire life and have had multiple eye exams. I don't ever remember an office charging me more than 10 or 20 as a copay. This office charged me $260 upfront as the 'estimated out of pocket costs' for a standard exam and contact lens fit and follow up, even after they supposedly billed my insurance. They had me sign a lot of forms which I'll admit that I didn't read. I don't have a lot of free time and I needed an updated prescription for my contacts asap. A week later, my insurance still hasn't received a claim from this provider. My insurance carrier even called the billing person in the office and they can't explain why I was charged $260 for exam. After reading all of these reviews, I realize I've probably been scammed and I've canceled my follow up visit. I'm assuming I'll receive a billing statement in the future requesting additional payment. Do yourself a favor, save yourself a headache, DO NOT schedule an appointment with this office.

Just got an invoice for 130.00. After 5 months. They said insurance didn’t cover but when I went to them in April they said it would cost me a certain amount which I paid. Now they are saying it was only an estimate. They also changed me a 25.00 admin fee because I moved and didn’t receive the first bill. They are not above board.

I have never had such a comprehensive eye exam like the one I was given by Dr. Reich. She and her staff were extremely accommodating, knowledgeable and overall this was the best experience I have had with an eye doctor. Would hands down recommend her.

Billing patients outrageous prices, like $700 for an eye exam! They need to be audited, definitely scamming people! Do NOT go there!!

Dr Reich and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. They took time to explain each procedure and then helped me find the perfect frames for my new glasses.

A total scam. I waited almost an hour and 45 minutes which was supposed to be a walk-in situation. I felt like I walked into a used car lot. They tried to upsell me products and services I did not ask for or want. I paid $150 at the appointment. A few months later I get a bill in the mail that says I owe more money due to my insurance. I totally get that my insurance did not cover some of it, however, now I have a late fee of $100. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! The prices that I paid versus the prices that were represented we're totally different. I was totally scammed. I had to pay almost $300 more in order to protect my credit. Dr. Shaijida treated her staff as a dictator. The whole scene was extreemly uncomfortable.

This doctor and her staff engage in questionable billing practices. They will tell you they will bill your insurance but months later you will receive a bill asking the patient to cover the amount that was supposed to be covered by insurance. I found out they didn’t bill our insurance. They billed the wrong insurance which is very doubtful because we didn’t list this insurance on our form. The only reason we went to her was because she was in network while she was inside visionworks. If we have known we would be dealing with her and not visionworks we would have walked away. Read her reviews online. Her office has been doing this for years I’m surprised she is still allowed to operate until now. She now moved to Optimal Vision Care near Grocery outlet and Big 5.

1) Failed to provide me with my medical records within the legal time limit of signing the “Release of Medical Records” form and paying an over-priced fee of 25-dollars per copy. 2) Refused to reimburse my $25 for the medical records after not receiving them in the legal time limit. 3) After her legal deadline, she finally mailed me a one-page typed summary of my eye exam, to which she quoted false spoken statements; damaging to my reputation with my employer.

I have gone to see Dr Reich several times over the past 10 years and I have had all positive experiences with her knowledge, and professionalism. She has always been patient and available to explain things to me. I plan to make another appointment with her this month. I always recommend her to my friends and family.

She urged me to have a specific vision test saying it was covered by Medicare. They charged me and still have not submitted anything to Medicare. That was six months ago. Not a pleasant experience. Staff not helpful.

The office didn't provide the needed services. I had to call so many times for the follow up visits. Got an order of contact lens that where torn and they just sent me out the door with different ones. They never reordered the torn ones. Horrible service, people where rude. I had to sign a contract stating what they expected from me, but they have accountability for themselves. I will NEVER go there again and will make sure I do not recommend this place or Dr.

I needed a simple report for eyelid surgery preauthorization. It was requested in Sept. By Nov 11th I still didn't have the complete, readable report. I requested a full refund and went to a different doctor with a professional staff. The man answering the phone was stubborn and unhelpful.
