Dr. Shailaja Kurli, PHD

She is very patient and kind, and easy to talk to. She has helped me so much, I wasn't sure I would be able to adjust to the changes in my life. I was dealing with retirement, death of spouse, moving across the country, and new health issues of my own. She helped me develop skills to stop being depressed and feeling useless as if I had no reason to live. She is a wonderful therapist, and I was very lucky to find her. I have used face time and talking on phone. I have not seen her office.

She is a horrible psychologist/ therapist. She is very antagonistic and unprofessional. She also doesn’t respect her appointment time. An example of this is that I had to call her 37 minutes after our scheduled tele visit. Her reason wasn’t that she was running late as a result of an appointment with another patient or because of an urgent issue or an emergency. She said that she didn’t call me because she thought I would call her. I have done that multiple times because she was late. Then, she tried to make the issue about me. The many other times that she was late was because of she was engaged with the cleaners of her house, her morning meditation, etc. It was never about running late because of another patient. I consider her actions to be unacceptable and unprofessional. I do not recommend her as she is not focused on her patients. She is also very uncaring and horrible. I have never come across any health professional like her.
