Dr. Seraphim Manio, OD

On 8/21/23, I had the displeasure of meeting optometrist Seraphim Manio at America's Best located in Torrance 19800 Hawthorne Blvd. Mr. Manio was very curt, unprofessional, and lacked the basic client/doctor mannerism one would expect during an appointment. Mr. Manio assessed my 11year old Niece's eyes for a few minutes, then said she needed glasses, then told us to head to the front to get help. I was stunned. It felt like a doctor walking into your room, listens to your heart, tells you you need surgery, then walks out. Mr. Manio gave absolutely no explanation of my Niece's problems with her vision, what he found during his assessment, his recommendations, nor explanation of her prescription. I was stunned with the lack of information given. When I asked what were the issues with my Niece's eyesight, Mr. Manio gave me a look that read he was annoyed and irritated. His reply was very rude and brief. I will not spend my hard earned money at this location or company again.
