When the world is tilting, Mr. Stubbs can be a guardrail. At my most vulnerable time, he offered solace and compassionate grief counseling after the loss of both of my parents. In a time of clamor when people fill the air with words, he listened. Instead of giving platitudes, he offered hope, reminding me to live forward rather than focusing on what was. For that I will always be grateful.
