I had a terrible experience with Sarah and am concerned for future patients . First of all all her sessions are virtual still and sometimes we struggled to start on time to due to tech issues . Secondly we were in a session in which I became frustrated and felt out of sorts / dysregulated and Instead of offering solutions , helping me return to baseline with one of many interventions a therapist should possess she started to tell me she didn’t understand what was going on … she asked me if I would I prefer to work with another therapist , etc . There was no empathy or therapeutic approach at all …. I was shocked at how much she lacked empathy , how ineffective she was and seemed to have no clue how to help me other than to suggest i tell her what I needed . If you have issues and need a skilled therapist with tools to help you please find somebody else . I felt traumatized and am anxious about opening up to another therapist due to how abandoned and unsupported felt by a professional I trusted to help me.
