She helped me a lot. Very professional.

In reading the previous review, I am concerned for other clients. I have worked with a range of therapists, professionally and personally. Sara is untrustworthy, capricious, self-applauding, and cold as a cucumber.

I have seen many therapists over the years, and Sara is absolutely in my top three. She is warm, attentive, and insightful, as well as generous with her time. I highly recommend Sara as a therapist.

Sara's ability to relate to others and collaborate leaves room for improvement. I experienced her as detached and unaffected. Her skills for empathy and caring come up short.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Scott?
I saw Dr. Scott for a few months. She was stoic and limp. Very ineffective, unhelpful and inconsistent. She came across as calm, but after the first few visits it was clear she does not know how to address depression, even though it is listed as one of her specialties. I was exceedingly disappointed and worse off than when I began. Do not ask for advice or guidance from her as she will tell you she's there to listen and nothing more. Dr. Scott is not effective at diffusing your issues. A therapist should impart tools for empowering one's self. Instead, her lack of answers and input resulted in increased frustration. Her understanding is forced. She's better suited for working in a lab with data and inanimate objects, not actual people with feelings. The one thing I will say, to her credit, is that she typically replies promptly; almost robotically. Spend your time and money elsewhere if you want quality counseling and lasting change. A life coach is better.
