Sara McDonald, PA-C

A few months ago I saw Sara for lower back trouble. I was nervous and she put my mind at ease. She listened to my concerns and I felt she truly wanted to help me. She has Impeccable bedside manner. I would recommend friends, family, or anyone, to see Sara.

I've had the pleasure of being a patient of Sara's for over 3 years. She has been the primary PA on my orthopedic surgical team, and has seen me through 4 major surgeries on my left knee (1 total knee replacement, two emergency surgeries to correct an infected implant, and a revision total knee replacement. She is hands down my favorite because of her wealth of knowledge of orthopedics, her kind and respectful bedside manner, her efficiency, follow up care, and her encouragement and support.Whenever I call my orthopedic office with a question, I always request that if she is working, that she call me back. She is THE best patient advocate within her team, to Dr Booth, to pharmacists for medication (she spent one weekend helping me call all over Philadelphia and find a pharmacy who would take my hard to fill prescription). My surgeries have been challenging, and Sara has treated me though all of them- to me she's the gold standard of care I use when evaluating my healthcare team.

Sara took such great care of my mother-in-law. She was so kind to her and always there to answer any questions she had. Sara made my mother-in-law feel that her concerns were being heard and answered all of her questions fully and professionally. Sara was so knowledgeable and we will be forever grateful for all she has done for our family.

Sara is truly an asset to the practice. I feel heard and understood. I have never felt rushed or like a number with her. I see her every 3 months for injections and she always seems to get them in just the right spot. After many injections at other practices I was extremely nervous to go this route again but Sara put every worry I had at ease and continues to make me feel comfortable.

Sara is the most empathetic and genuinely invested PA-C that has ever treated me. Sara has a wonderful sense of humor and had a vast knowledge on medical issues. After reviewing my condition, she was able to relieve my pain , and then went above and beyond with additional treatment recommendations that have greatly improved my daily mobility. I know I always receive the best of care from Sara. She is the BEST of the best! I highly recommend Sara to everyone I know!

Sara did an excellent job diagnosing my pain and providing me with a treatment plan. She took the time to listen to me and address my concerns.
