Does nothing to support you
Sara was a covering provider for my PCP while he was out for a personal emergency this week. She was told that I ran out of refills of a medication that is vital for my comfort and that I've been prescribed for years. She made no attempt to call me, message me in MyChart, or set up a last-minute appointment. She did nothing. As a covering provider, she had a responsibility to care for her colleague's patients.

I was scheduled for a 40 minute appt. to establish care as my previous provider left. She was in the room for exactly 24 minutes. She was extremely difficult to talk to. She ask some questions, but then interrupted when I went to answer. I will not see her again and requested a change in providers at this appt. I will also instruct my ins to NOT pay for the 40 minutes.
