Sara Fordham

Was trying to find a new provider and chose Sara. She based the whole visit off my psych stay a little over a year ago. My life has drastically changed for the better and that stay I chose to better myself but to her I was just another unstable patient. (I was there then due to suicidal thoughts) Going off my record she saw the part on my chart in psych where it asked me what I was using to cope and I had sex and alcohol listed. One of the first things to come out of her mouth was “Is there a chance you have an STD” and I said it wasn’t possible and she responded with “Actually it is” And I reiterated that it wasn’t. Little did she know I was in a relationship then that was far from healthy and I wasn’t sleeping around. I also expressed a concern about something and even though I explained to her about how I eat she still didn’t believe me because my chart says I have an eating disorder. Definitely was unprofessional treatment to say the least.
