Terrible treatment and unneeded attitude.
On Saturday December 28th, after being involved in a car accident. With concern and pain my family and I visited St. Mary’s we were greeted with a very pleasant receptionist which I was grateful for. After waiting for what it seems Iike an eternity nurse Sara introduced herself in a dry and insensitive way. Her manner made me uneasy. As she returned and my mom returned from parking the car. When inquired about me and my sibling nurse Sara ignored her stating “I’m talking to who I came here for”. We all agreed that was uncalled for especially in a situation like this. She was very condescending as there was confusion about whose name being called. She was unprofessional and a poor representation of st. Mary’s hospital staff.

Rude, condescending, and careless
I was seen by Sara at St Mary’s Medical Center in the ER. She was very abrasive and had a sarcastic response to everything I asked. She was dismissive of my requests for more information and spoke in an aggressive tone, even at some point rolling her eyes. When her trainee sought her out to come to my room and answer a question, it was as if I inconvenienced her to simply do her job. Her bedside manner is absolutely terrible. I expect better from someone who is a nurse. If you go into the ER at St Mary’s, I would ask for a different provider.

My son woke up with a sore throat and we saw Sara Ahmed at MedExpress in Boynton Beach, FL. So she ran a COVID test on my son but that was about it. No other suggestions. The evaluation didn't even include listening to his breathing, and when she "checked" his throat, she just put the light about a foot away from his face for about 3 seconds. Her exact words when we left were "he's fine". She was not clear about the next steps, as they refused me a work and school note due to suspected COVID. My son spiked a fever for the next 2 days and I had to go back to the office once the COVID test came back negative just to have someone else tell me that my son had an upper respiratory infection and had developed costochondritis from the aggressive coughing fits he was having. 2 copays later, and 4 days of work missed....
