Dr. Sandra Yelen, OD

I initially called to make an appointment in August, and was told the first opening she had was late October. I was called two days before the appointment and told it had to be rescheduled, as she wouldn’t be in the office that day, and was given a date for a month later. I asked if they were sure she’d be in the office that day, and was told “I don’t know if she’ll be in the office or not, I just know she won’t be here the 24th”. I found the response unprofessional, but chalked it up to a bad day and made the second appointment. I was called a week and a day before that appointment, and first asked, then told, I needed to come in the next day, as she wouldn’t be in the office on the day of my appointment. I asked if there was any way I could be seen as scheduled or another day. I was told “ if you can’t come tomorrow, then you’ll have to wait until 12/24. How’s that make you feel?” In a tone that was rude and disrespectful. I couldn’t recommend this business less if I tried.

Dr. Yelen is such a thorough and caring professional. The Staff is so friendly and helpful. Such an overall comfortable professional environment in every way possible.
