I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Dr. Sandra Betancourt, the Clinical Director at Hanley Center. Her approach and attitude during my treatment were far from what I expected from a professional in her position.During my stay, I shared my struggles and childhood trauma, hoping for understanding and support. Instead, I was met with dismissiveness and a complete lack of empathy. When the assistant clinical director told me that I 'just know too many people here,' I was already feeling alienated. Dr. Betancourt's response was even more shocking. She outright told me that Hanley Center couldn't help me and asked me to leave under an administrative discharge. This decision made no sense, as I hadn't broken any rules or done anything wrong.It's alarming that someone in her role could be so unprofessional and insensitive, especially towards someone seeking help for deeply personal issues.
