The Best Optometrist
During a routine eye appointment, Dr Herbert noticed something unusual. I had been going to Dr Herbert for several years and he compared previous pictures of my eye to the one just taken. I had a detached retina which had not affected the macular. Unfortunately, this is my dominant eye without it I would not be able to function normally. Dr Herbert was quick to respond and set me up with a retinal specialist. I met with the retinal surgeon. The surgery was a success. Although due to the trauma of the surgery I had to have cataract surgery -now I see very well. Dr Herbert was responsive to my immediate needs, kept following up with me and was compassionate, professional and one of the best eye doctors that I have ever seen. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him and the fact he saved me from being legally blind I am exceptionally grateful.
