Dr. Samira Niksefat, AUD

I'm a 78-year old disabled veteran who suffers from hearing loss and extreme, screeching loud tinnitus. Prior to being examined by Dr. Niksefat in December, 2022. I'd had several hearing exams and even been prescribed a hearing aid. I was sent to Niksefat by the VA or DAV because a service-connected disability claim I had filed included hearing loss and tinnitus. Dr. Niksefat never had me enter a sound booth for a hearing test during my visit with her at a QTC office in Culver City, CA, yet she reported back to the VA and DAV that I had NO hearing loss or tinnitus. That was interesting because I had been tested for the hearing loss and I had been suffering with the tinnitus constantly for years. The QTC office where Dr. Niksefat saw me no longer exists. Reporting issues about examiners to QTC is basically useless. They'll take reports, but they do nothing about them.Dr. Niksefat's report to the DAV & VA about my hearing was the result of an interview and NOT audiology testing.
