Samantha Nunamaker, FNP-C

My pregnant daughter that has a sore throat and running a low grade fever went to see the nurse practitioner, Samantha Nunamaker, and because of her symptoms, NP Nunamaker would not allow her in the building, as if this was the year 2020 and everyone still had "Covid-19 panic". She had to drive around back where she was given a Covid and Flu test and have her temperature taken. That was it! She also had unusual back pain and told Nunamaker about it, but no assessment was done. No checking for a urinary tract infection, which many pregnant women get, and no antibiotics were prescribed. My daughter eventually contacted her OBGYN and was prescribed antibiotics. What is the purpose of going to see a Dr or NP at Summit Medical when you are sick if they refuse to do an assessment to diagnose your illness? Absurd to say the least, and Nunamaker was not only uncaring, but rude! My advice to anyone looking into being treated by her, look elsewhere for one that cares.
