Samantha Manuel, NPC

Ms. Manuel’s presence is professional, yet patient and comforting, making her very easy to talk to about what’s troubling you at the time. She is tenacious in seeking out the root cause of your symptoms, and is willing to collaborate with pharmacy, physical therapy and other team members to ensure every angle and options for treatments are explored. I was so impressed that I never experienced any long wait times with her, yet I never once felt rushed through. I felt not only did she listen to me but what I said was HEARD. I was finally included in my care and that is priceless. Her knowledge and experience have built the foundation of this wonderful provider, her professionalism and bedside manner make her exceptional!

I had seen Samantha Manual NP at Mountain States Medical Group since June of 2017 as my primary care physician. I had never missed an appointment, nor been late for an appointment in two and a half years of doctor visits. I think I re-scheduled an appointment once, well ahead of time. Although Samantha did a pretty good job of taking care of me, I typically had to wait up to 30 minutes in the examination room to see her. I always felt that she was in a rush to get me in and out as quickly as possible. A couple of weeks ago I was scheduled for an appointment at 1:15 on a Friday, and thought the appointment was at 1:30. I signed in at 1:27 and was told by the receptionist that since I was more than ten minutes late for my appointment that they couldn't see me, and I would have to reschedule the appointment. There was NO ONE waiting in the reception area. Quality medical care is obviously not very high on their priority list.

Professional, knowledgeable and courteous! As a health care professional myself, I appreciate the time and patience she has shown me each visit. She always taken the time to explain the situation and her treatment plan. I recommend her every chance I can! She is a great health care provider who truly cares about her patients!

I've been in healthcare for more than two decades and am very picky. After moving to this region and not having much success with other providers, my family and I went to her bc she came highly recommended by other medical professionals. We've been back numerous times over the past couple of years for various issues and she has taken great care of our family. She is an NP who works under an excellent doctor who also comes highly recommended. We've been very pleased with our care.

1) A professional should dress as such. A faded sundress that is a size to small is not professional and gives a bad first impression. 2) Her listening skills are very poor. I rated my pain level a zero when sitting and a two when walking. I explained that ibuprofen gave me the relief I needed. She wanted to administer a pain shot... Why? 3) Her exam was very poor. She felt my knee and stated it was arthritis. You can tell by feeling? WASTE OF MONEY seeing this person. NEVER AGAIN
