Dr. Sally Brenzel, PSY.D

I would not recommend her if your leaving or still in an abusive relationship. She didn’t take much time or care to report and she’s a mandatory reporter ; she had me write a history of violence which she withheld from the courts and she kept original copies of evidence never giving them to the judge. I only saw her briefly she was not my psychologist she did not show any empathy or concern when I told her about the physical, sexual, financial and spiritual and mental abuse I endured. She didn’t perform a psychological evaluation on me or my ex, and when she had me write the history of violence it was over 9 years of abuse ; exhausting; she portrayed me as being not a human ; but only having ideas about abuse and did not tell the judge what I reported nor show the evidence; she sided with my ex abuser ; and she made grandiose statements about me even though she barely spoke to me; she doubted my word ; when I confided in her about a traumatic event that happened during that time.
