Perhaps it was more that counseling in general doesn’t work on me, but I did not take away much positivity from my time with this practitioner. Upon establishing my goals for counseling, all that was done for the rest of the months was trying to “get me to understand” why my goals were wrong. This practioner could do nothing but offer the same advice over and over, despite my adamant distaste for the concept. Again, I am, perhaps, too intelligent to be affected by counseling, but I tried it. Bad
