Dr. Russell Nemky, DPT

I have been a licensed physical therapist for a number of years and several of those years were spent working alongside Russell Nemky. I have had the fortune to work with a number of bright and skilled therapists, but my opinion of Russell is especially high. I've seen the way he consistently treats patients with respect, humor and genuine concern. If I have a puzzling situation with a patient, I call Russell first as I know he will give any question or concern time and genuine thought. He's an astute observer and has exceptional therapy skills and knowledge with a varied range of experience. If I or anyone in my family has a physical therapy need Russell is the therapist I go to.

“I’m too old,” responded Russell when I asked him to join my kickball team. ??????? Just a little over two months later, Russell generously made a Sunday home visit (friends in high places, am I right?)?? He squeezed my calf without a response from my toes. ?? “This is why I didn’t play kickball. The risk for injury is high with a field that big. You want to just go ham when you’re kicking the ball.” And two and a half months after that, I showed up to my first day of physical therapy with zero clues, wearing my favorite polka dot skirt (was given a sheet to cover up ??), a severe case of duck walk, and a fear of anyone (including myself) touching my scar. And guess what? In thirty minutes Russ would fix my funky walk! ?? I’ll ALWAYS recommend Kerrville Physical Therapy based on the care given to me inside and outside of the walls of their building on Hill Country Drive. ??
