Dr. Rosemary Selby, PHD

I worked with Dr Selby for over 3 years. She is very empathetic and insightful. I would recommend her to anyone. She helped me navigate a lot of life's ups and downs, and also helped me work through some long-standing family issues.

I saw her for several visits and did not think it was going anywhere useful. During my final session, I told her I wanted to bring our sessions to an end and find a different therapist, and she was very rude and dismissive. She made several insulting, intentionally hurtful comments and declined my effort to conclude our time together on a good note. I remain surprised that any therapist would lash out at a client, but it did confirm to me that I had made the right decision to seek help elsewhere. This area is has plenty of better options than Dr Selby.

She accurately assessed my issues and was both accurate, friendly, and quite helpful. I would recommend her to a friend.

Do not ever come to her if you’re trying to get non bias and helpful advice or therapy. She’s extremely rude and not friendly at all. She lectured me and did not listen to anything that i was saying. She even tried to make me feel worse when i gave her feedback. She shouldn’t have a license in therapy and could really ruin someone’s life if they heavily relied on therapy. She has no empathy or sympathy and I hope she gets it revoked. Horrible horrible person.
