In over 15 years, I have never experienced a problem with Dr. Betz or her wonderful staff. She is a consummate professional and she has provided me excellent advice. Some folks may be turned off by her blunt, honest demeanor as a native of NJ, but she has been a fixture in our community and has lived in Alabama for nearly 40 years. I feel privileged to have had such a fine optometrist and her exceptionally fun and kind staff care for my vision needs.

My child has been a patient for 5 years and every time we go for the yearly check up i wonder why i keep going back. Well not any longer Dr. Betz has no bedside manner or patience (eye drops sting) she reprimanded my child for blinking too much??? Terrible attitude no care for the patient at all. The office staff is rude and is acting like they are doing you a favor. This was definitely our last visit.

While Dr. Betz may not have the best bed-side manner, she is is an excellent optometrist. She will spend time with you. She will go above and beyond. I have an unusual prescription and she has worked with me to get my prescription correct.
