I was referred to Dr. Newman by a colleague, I am so glad. I have worked with therapists in the past and Dr. Newman is by far the best that I have experienced. He has a calm demeanor and is a great listener. He takes notes but it doesn't interfere with our session. He is a Christian, but I don't feel pressured by his faith. It's a bonus for me. I like that he strives for balance rather than perfection. It keeps me motivated rather than intimidated. Now that he does telehealth, he will continue to be a resource when I need help even if I move out of the area.

I had to wait two months to get an appointment with Dr. Newman but it was worth the wait. He is a very kind, compassionate and gentle doctor. Great listener. I have total faith he will help me with my struggle with depression.

Dr. Newman is the best counselor that I have experienced and I've been to a few. He is a Christian and combines Christianity with psychology in an extremely helpful way. He has helped my family for years and dare I say he is practically family. He absolutely takes the time to listen and actually cares for your well being. I would and have recommended him to anyone who needs help.
