I don't typically write reviews, but I felt compelled after seeing a familiar experience. In his first session with Dr. Johnson, my partner who in our marriage had struggled with substance abuse, lying & anger management issues was told he had the emotional maturity of a 3-year-old, but he was also hyper intelligent. It was a bizarre analysis, and when Dr. Johnson (at his request) met with me, he reiterated this analysis and also told me my partner was incapable of lying because he was not able to understand what he was doing. Overall, I found this approach to be detrimental to my partner and to our relationship. Kudos to Ray for recognizing being called a toddler is an insult not a revelation.

Went for an evaluation on March 29th. I sat down with him for almost an hour and got asked stupid questions, ex: Do you know the difference between a bird and a tree? He got some basic family background, didn't even get into the issues I was going through. At the end of it He insulted me by calling me a 4 year old, but I'm really smart, he said too! Needless to say this evaluation effected me in a negative way and it still bothers me!
