Did Not Follow Through
On June 21, 2022, I placed an order for a pair of Oticon hearing aids and in a few weeks, I was given a call by HearingLife and informed that they were in. I spoke to someone who made an appointment for 07/05/2022 at 3:30 PM, but when I arrived at 3:05, the receptionist told me (in a rude way and in front of other patients, I might add) that there was no appointment made. He asked me what it was for, and I informed him I was there to pick up a pair of hearing aids. He then went to the back room and found a box containing the aids which he took to Dr. Scharber. A few minutes later, Dr. Scharber came to the window and informed me that they had made a mistake and that the hearing aids needed at least 3 hours to charge. He asked me if I could come back tomorrow? Feeling slighted, I told him no, and to cancel the order. I hope he will credit my credit card account and inform my insurance company regarding this cancelation so that I can order them from a more reputable audiologist.
