Shockingly unethical to the mental health profession. Blatantly and repeatedly lied in assessment report submitted to the courts. Lies easily disproven but takes months to move through the system. This man causes a lot of harm to people already in need of support. Don’t ever use him for an AME or QME; he is overtly biased to protect insurance companies from spending money on treatments and disability settlements- the opposite from the Hippocratic Oath.

Dr Avenson was extremely easy to talk to. It has been a while since I last saw him, but knowing that I need help again, his services is at the forefront of my mind. I learned a great deal from Dr. Avenson regarding my condition and what tools I could utilize to deal with my issues. Dr Avenson made me his partner in exploring my issues and seeking the best options of treatment for me. I could. It recommend Dr Avenson any higher. A great clinician.
