Rita Zorrozua, LICSW

Went to counseling with my 12 year old daughter to restore my relationship with her due to divorce. Mom kepted her against the parenting plan, brainwashed her, and Rita's counseling did absolutely nothing, even though I did everything asked. I have no criminal record, have a Federal job, no history of abuse, and haven't had my daughter in almost 3 years. Mom brainwashed my daughter. Rita is not beneficial at all. Waste of time and money.

From a very personal experience, I would most definitely think twice about going to this "SPECIFIC" therapist....if she can even truly call herself that; despite her credentials. I had a very traumatic experience when I turned 18. Im 36 now, and can not believe this woman is still ABLE to practice. I was diagnosed, by "Rita" stating I have PTSD, problems with change, etc.... I was informed by a family friend at the time to go to Rita. She had helped this families friends child; with a traumatic past, and she informed me helped him a great deal. Unfortunately the person whom informed me of Rita and her wonderful competency turned out to be less than reliable, is the best way to put this. Also, my supposed friends son, unfortunately, whom she informed me of, which she claimed was so helped by Rita was "only in my opinion", domineering, sociopathic, humiliating, detrimental to growth, turned out gay which I have no problem with. Unprofessional and outdated. if this were 1970 maybe she would seem knowledgeable in her field, but since it's 2019 she comes off as dangerously uninformed. I will not be back to this woman OR her son who she shares a practice with ever again.
