Dr. Richard Travis, PHD

"Dr." Travis routinely wrote down the wrong time and or day for appointments and denied fault all but once when I showed up at the time he had scheduled me & someone else at the same slot where they arrived first which forced him to admit the error was on his end. He places a clock directly next to your spot on the couch & his eyes continuously dart over to it during the session as he obviously can't wait for the appointment to end and simply take the money & move on to the next one or be done for the day. He seems friendly but it's just a mask to make you think he cares when these circumstances prove otherwise. Things came to a breaking point when he scheduled me on his own at an irregular date for an appointment I hadn't asked for or confirmed and upon the day it came called saying he would charge me for not showing. I told him he could either drop the matter and I'd continue with him or give him the money for the "missed" appointment and lose me as a patient. Foolishly he picked the latter.

My husband and I went to Dr. Travis for pre-marital counselling and he helped us so much. We were married 32 years before my husband passed.
