Initially, my experience with Rick seemed as if it were going well. He was congenial and agreeable in his responses. However, when I finally read his progress notes, I realized that he was passive-aggressive and two-faced: telling me one thing and writing another. Also, he is disorganized and refuses to use an email address and to confirm appointments via email, which led to his not showing up for multiple Zoom sessions. When I attempted to solve the problem by asking for an email confirmation from his mother/receptionist, he refused again. Then, in his notes, he stated I was a 'no show' for an appointment and that it was 'his impression that this was done on purpose.' What is even worse is that he ignored signs and examples of domestic violence and trauma, telling me that 'he had seen worse,' and discounting our family's experiences. I give Rick zero stars.
