Talks about himself constantly and appears to want pity (at least from the couple of female friends I also know who have seen him). The therapy was pretty good, but his interpersonal skills are questionable.

I went to him specifically to help me get my marriage on track. He spent several weeks telling me about his awful marriage and how he was able to get out of it. He was very detailed about his current dating life. He kept telling me that I'll be fine without my wife and son. Seems like he had an agenda, and an ax to grind. Im a psychologist, would never recommend him to my clients.

I really believe I'm worse now than after two appts with this guy. Don't waste any if your precious time with him...I should have read the reviews before my appt.

Rick is a really kind human being and he also has a wonderful sense of humor, too. I like how easy it is to schedule an appointment through his online portal. Furthermore, the insight he had for us as a couple at the end of our first session was something I had never previously considered. That observation alone was enough for me to book us another appointment.

Treatment is ineffective, and approaches are useless. I felt as though I never got to the root of the issue with this counselor, which was extremely frustrating. Wasted time and wouldn’t recommend for treatment. My spouse went to him as well and only told us different solutions, which didn’t help us try to be more cohesive as a couple, and only caused more friction. He only told us individually that we were right and didn’t focus on the core issues that could make us unify as a couple.

Waste of my time, money, and breath. My goodness why is this provider allowed to practice?

I choose a male counselor because I am male and thought it would be a good experience. No way! So discouraged because he talked about himself every session. I hope not all counselors are like this. Going to try an actual psychologist next.
