Seems like we had a situation like others-the office only cares about the $$.And Valerie? Ugh don’t get me started. Patient care is null here. My husband got kicked off her patient list for not being long standing enough. He has a crazy work schedule and a couple times had to reschedule. Dr Strickland told him Valerie would reach out to reschedule and she never did. And then marked it down as him just cancelling. He’s been struggling for a while and it’s hard to reach out for help especially if it’s with an office like this! I’m just so disappointed that an office dealing with people who struggle mentally and suicidally would be so careless with peoples lives. It all comes down to technicalities and $$. It’s pathetic. Please don’t even waste your time. Find someone who truly cares and wants you to be okay!

Practice, Balance Beacon is unprofessional
Do not bother booking at this practice. They seem to only care about money. It doesn’t appear that the well being or treatment of a patient is taken in to consideration here at all. They have a strict cancellation policy, yet I was called less than an hour before my appointment with Dr. Jones at 11am. I was called by Valerie at 10:07am today, when this appointment was made almost one month ago. This appointment was made because I could no longer see Dr. Strickland, because I am considered a new patient, due to a gap, although I’d seen her more than once. The excuses I was given was because there was an ice storm and because the person who scheduled the appointment, is no longer with the practice. So the patient, being informed less than one hour prior to the appointment is acceptable? I’m being penalized for a supposed mistake of a former employee. Another excuse was due to the ice storm. It’s interesting because the practice will punish the patient.
