I have been seeing Dr. Flashier for several years and she stopped taking my insurance. I saw RPA Rebecca Sklar today and I was so happy to meet her. She is super friendly and efficient. She checked a biopsy I had, we discussed the results and planned for the next visit. Thank you for the professional check-up. The office staff is also professional. The office is clean and COVID-19 protocols are followed.

Another Geeat Experience at Advanced Dermatology – Mar 11, 2021

Daughter asked for an ingrown hair to be removed. Told that could not be done so was roped into useless injections. After 3 visits bill came $750 ! Stopped going to ADVANCED DERM in Commack NY. Went to a new derm office, had them cut out with no problem. Family of 4 no longer going to practice.

The only issue I had was that the procedure hurt more than I expected based on my discussion with the doctor and the pain lasted longer than expected. I have a very high tolerance for pain but this hurt and I was black and blue for at least 5 days after. (A bit pricey too if you have to pay out of pocket)

I had to switch dermatologists due to a change in insurance & it can be uneasy starting over with a new doctor when you have a long history with another. I was very comfortable in this office as a new patient. Everyone was friendly & professional & even making an appt was pretty quick & easy. I've had to wait 3-4 months for an appointment with my previous doc, which isn't very helpful. I would definitely like to stay with this practice, assuming any future insurance changes allows me to.
