Dr. Rebecca Nichols, OD

I haven’t been to the eye doctor in a while. Dr. Nichols and the rest of the staff were very informative and patient answering all of my questions.

Dr. Nichols is a fantastic physician who was highly professional, personable and very thorough in her exam. From her assistant Joe’s initial exam to Dr. Nichols’ exam it was a very enjoyable experience. I felt like I was in very capable hands . It’s so nice to have a doctor who listens and responds with expert knowledge to your concerns. What a breath of fresh air Dr. Nichols is!

Dr. Nichols was able to get me in quickly. Her tech and the doctor were very knowledgeable and thorough. Will go back to KC Eye Clinic for future visits

Professionalism, kindness, and caring.

Dr. nichols is very personable and the whole practice is run very well. Scheduling was easy, her nurses were lightening fast, no long wait times. Ima. Relatively easy near sighted patient, so I can’t speak to more complex patients, but I’ve always been very pleased with my experience.

Dr. Rebecca Nichols can fit glasses but don’t expect help if you have cataracts. For a couple of years she said I did not qualify under Medicare standards. I asked what those standards were. She only answered that she could correct to 20/25 but that was not in normal daylight or at night. Turns out I was almost blind with cataracts at night. She failed to give me a glare test which basically showed I was blind if a light shone in my eye from the side or front. I am with a different excellent optometrist who knows her stuff… had cataract surgery on both eyes within 6 weeks of my first appointment paid for by Medicare. Yes… Dr. Nichols is nice but huffy if you need an explanation or you keep saying you still cannot see. Her answer to that is she prescribed what I needed. Apparently, that was NOT the case. I normally would not write this but I struggled with my eyesight for a long time and kept saying I still could not see. Her response was that I could. Go figure…

Several years now. She's a complete professional in every way. My exam was thorough and she's warm and concerned. I will continue to see her for my exams. She is much appreciated!

You leave a visit with the answers to your questions. She gives you simple directions to follow for your own eye care and she laughs at stupid jokes.

New to the area and this was my first visit. Well run facility. I had an great appointment with Dr. Nichols and she was very attentive to my questions. Her Technician, Hannah, was also excellent with a good ‘bedside’ manner. Some folks in the lobby did have a longer wait than me (other doctors), but in general everyone seemed really happy with their medical providers. Also -I was referred to the opthomologist (eye doctor) and its so nice because she is in the same office. It was very easy to set up that appointment - no additional phone calls or creating records at a new place! Highly recommend.
