Fantastic Provider

NP Hoover has been such a wonderful health care provider to me! She takes her time explaining things and treats you as a person one on one. I have had only positive experiences with her and appreciate her personable demeanor!

Negative Have talked to her on phone once.

Im 90% deaf and have brain damage fro stroke. She has no knowledge of HOH(hard of hearing )protocol. She was rude, didactic, overbearing, run=on sentences I Had to constanlly ask her to slow down and put aspace between herwords. Rude..I kept trying..and she kept talking over me. Finally I had to turn up my phone volume, and I had to talk lodly over her so she could understand me. Her reaction? we"Well, if your going to yeel at me I.m going to hang up"which she did. Incredible! Half the clinical stuff she was telling me was wrong . I guess she didnt hear me when I told her I had a Medical License as an LRT, retired with experience in ERs, hospitals for years. Shes one of these folks who has t have the Dominant Role in the conversation. Totally obnoxious, and in my personal opinion, incompetent in dealing with HOH folks. I notifed Practice Manager of above that she doesnt qualifyto be my PCP. 'Rude, Negative Attitude, Failure to Perform Assigned Tasks". I pay her. She doent pay me./.

Horrific experience. My 17-yr old son had a very painful abscess under his arm. She “numbed” it by injecting the numbing medicine so quickly that it shot out like a geyser out the abscess. It didn’t numb it and she was picking at it with tweezers. My son was shaking and had tears streaming down his face from the pain. No regard for his well-being and was dismissive about his discomfort. Could be the worst provider we’ve ever seen.
