Horrible, Horrible Experience - Please Read
Here for an exam on a TWO year old. His assistant mistakenly pointed to an area of 'toys' and some weren't toys, hardly separated - I'd thought they were just old eye equipment. Dr. was angry, slamming things. I thoroughly explained we'd been told 'everything on that wall'.. he was clearly angry and it was uncomfortable. That set the tone for the appointment. He didn't introduce himself, didn't ask if I had questions, didn't want to review the prior record showing a HUGH difference in eye sight from what he was saying. Saying he was in the room for 2 minutes might be stretch. He could be a good doctor but at this appointment the standard of care wasn't met and this was the only appointment covered by insurance for 1 year. I am so upset. My poor 2yo didn't received proper care and we still have many questions. I also let the practice know my concerns. I hope he accepts criticism, and does better with the next poor child trying to receive care.

Not accurate with prescription. First attempt was way off. 2nd attempt got left lens right but right lens still way off. 3rd attempt on right led back to the prescription I already have. Instead of comparing his results to what I was wearing, ran with what "he thought" would work (at no time did I tell him that I could see clearly with his choices). Now, I have to pay out of pocket for a lens replacement as the insurance company (of which he is a participant in) won't cover his error.
