Dr. Rahnuma Saiyed, OD

After noticing a significant increase in the floaters in my left eye, I called Savin Eye Clinic in Racine where I've gone for 30 years. My regular doctor was not available, so I was politely put on hold while they discussed my situation with Dr. Saiyed. I was amazed when I was told she could see me the next day. My exam with her was outstanding. Not knowing me, she first went over my medical history on file. She then thoroughly explained what floaters are, how they develop, and potential vision risks. After expaining the imaging pictures of my eyes that were taken, she performed a VERY thorough visual inspection under magnification of every inch of the interiors of my eyes. She confirmed there were some large floaters in my left eye, but did not appear to have impacted the retina. Great news for me, but she wanted to see me again in six weeks, or earlier if they get worse. And, throughout the exam, she asked if I had any questions. I would absolutely recommend her!
