Raeann loves to tell you what to do but is not good at listening to patient symptoms, what is and is not working, and helping you move on from there. The classes that she teaches are painful to listen to (everyone knows hydration is a good thing, we don't need a powerpoint). It is unclear if the messages she receives are passed on clearly to the doctor without being filtered, resulting in a game of telephone that leaves patients feeling like they don't know if they're getting doctor's orders or Raeann's orders. It's a shame that UPMC makes everything go through her, they need better staff and to give patients the option.
