I was genuinely surprised that my midwife recognized when a topic I mentioned upset me (regarding my weight gain during pregnancy); she returned to the room right before we checked out to provide advice and a referral which was unexpected but made me feel heard.

I liked the midwife, she was nice and friendly. I just didn't spend much time with her. I spent more time with the practitioner.
