Rachel Grencavich, CNM

I hadn’t had had a gynecological exam for 11 years and recently had abnormal bleeding and a uterine ultrasound revealed fluid in my uterus. After waiting a month to get an exam at this office with Ms. Rachel Grencavich, she told me that I did not need a physical exam because I wasn’t sexually active. She stated that fluid in the uterus was “normal “ and only bloodwork is warranted. I was shocked and upset. Not all gynecological issues are linked to sexual activity. There is uterine cancer, breast cancer, endometriosis, inflammatory diseases, infections etc... How can she justify not performing any type of physical exam???!!! She should not be allowed to see patients and bill insurance companies! Incompetent!!

I will never see Rachel Grencavich again. I have never felt so uncomfortable at a doctor’s appointment. She was rude, ignorant, and disrespectful. She did not introduce herself or say goodbye. She did not let me talk or explain why I was there and when I got a chance to say a few words, she laughed and made jokes. She made me feel dumb and talked to me like I was a child. She was not friendly with me or my 2 year old daughter sitting in the room. She stared at me, told me I needed a mammogram and walked out of the room with her intern. I have been in the same office for 3 years and never once met her nor did any other doctor make me feel so crappy. I have never written a review about a doctor but felt the need so no other young woman has to experience those feelings.

She did not introduce herself. She was rude to me. Talk to me like I was a 13 year old but wouldn't speak loud enough and would only mumble. Would not listen to anything I would say I'm would over talk me and then chastise me for whatever I did say.

Rachel was my midwife for my first daughter, she was amazing, patient, loving and she made me feel like she really cared about me and the baby every single time I saw her. She deliver my daughter on July 6th, 2016 and I was so so so happy when she walked into the room. She is amazing and I really wish she was closer to where I live now so I can go to her in the future. I may even make the extra trip down to her office just because she was so absolutely amazing the last time.

Rachel is very patient and the best midwife!

When searching for someone to take care of you, you want to find a specialist who is not only extremely intelligent and up-to-date, but also passionate about their craft. This is Rachel! She isn't just a provider... she makes herself a dependable part of your life for the time you are with her, whether it just be annually for your GYN exams or more frequently, as through pregnancy and childbirth. She delivered both of my children, and without her, my first would have been a c/s. We love her!

I went into labor on a Saturday and the doctor on call was not Rachel but the other doctor in the office. To say I had a horrible experience with him would be an understatement. Luckily, at 7am they switched and Rachel was who delivered my son. I cried when she walked in! I was just so happy. She changed my entire labor around. Rachel is truthfully the best midwife you will ever find. She also is who I see for my annuals and is amazing. She's more than a midwife, she' s a friend.

Rachel truly cares about her patients?. She takes her time and becomes your friend rather than a doctor. She is truly a diamond in the rough!!
