Upbeat and friendly, but not very helpful.
I was seen by Rachel Dehoogh twice, after having a negative experience with another provider in the department. During both visits, she was very upbeat and friendly, giving off a very positive vibe. This was a drastic change from the provider I’d seen previously. Unfortunately, she seemed to become obsessive about one specific thing and it prevented her from being able to provide proper care. I do not have a dining room or dining room table, so I don’t have the option to sit and eat at one. Rachel repeatedly brought this up to me during both visits, in a way that felt as though she was shaming me. Where I can afford to live and the furniture I can afford to have should not prevent me from receiving proper care. This was such a weird experience, that I just decided to no longer be seen by gastroenterology. Even though it was still necessary.
