Pramila Traxler

After reading the reviews left on this site, I was really scared to see Pramila. I called and tried to get in with another provider too, honestly, but no one else was available. I am SO GLAD that I had to see her. I think people forget that medication providers are not the same thing as therapists, and they aren't there to council you. They're there to determine what medications are best to prescribe you to help you, and at the end of the day, they do know more about it than their patients do. I showed up late to my appointment due to traffic, and even though my appointment was cut short, she was incredibly thorough. She listened to my concerns, asked relative questions, and got me on medications I was comfortable with. When I experienced negative side effects, she answered my online message promptly, and within MINUTES of saying she wanted me to stop it and get on something else, I got a notification that the medication was filled at my pharmacy. Would definitely recommend her.

This provider’s complete incompetence coupled with her authoritarian approach to practicing is downright dangerous in my opinion. She neglects to properly educate her patients about different treatment options and the benefits and risks of each choice; choosing instead to speak over them, fail to acknowledge their concerns, placate them with half truths and even gaslight them.

Terrible bed side manner, lack of manners, rude, does not show up on time to appointments, treats patients like they are children

I went with my adult daughter as she stated she didn’t want to keep seeing her due to not feeling heard or cared for. I attended her appointment today and She was all about entering everything into her computer. No personal connection. She Interrupted when we voiced concerns and didn’t listen. When I voiced the reason we referred my daughter to see a psychiatrist, she basically called me old, and that back in the day, they didn’t recognize adhd in school. So if we didn’t have the school have a concern for my daughter, she doesn’t have it too. She seems to have her own agenda and kept telling my daughter that she was depressed and full of anxiety and the meds she quit taking over a month ago were still helping and she may want me o start them again. When I spoke up and asked if I could provide feedback, she agreed. So I shared that she was interrupting as we spoke and wasn’t listening. She said “we can terminate service and find a different provider “.

I saw this practitioner for refills on medications that were prescribed by a previous doctor that left Laureate. She has a deadpan personality and the worst air of superiority. My previous doctor told me where she was going and I’m grateful that I no longer need to see this particular practitioner. You’ve been warned.
