He initially presents as gentle, but during my sessions he: yelled at me (pressuring me to get banal information about my family, because he thought I was contradicting myself.....doesn't make it ok); passive aggressively told me that I must be insecure about my height (I'm tall); acted like it was a huge problem that I don't have a preference about being called by my birth name vs my nickname; and had other condescending remarks about me. I told him about a series of issues I was having with a roommate, and his solution was for me to write them all down on cards and one by one, read them and put them in a pile. This took a lot of time, and his point was "See! They can all be true!" What!??! He also said I was jealous of my roommate, because my roommate was Asian -and therefore shorter than me. To anyone struggling, please seek uplifting and positive support - I am very concerned about this man further pulling people down who are in a spot where they are feeling low and vulnerable.
