Dr. Peter Weiss, PHD

From the start he made me feel uncomfortable. Weird looks,I wasn't sure exactly dates so he would sigh. Would cut me off while talking. He then asked me to leave the room while he did a state testing with my child. Said it would be 20 minutes. 47 minutes later I walk back there. I don't hear anything so I tried opening the door and it was locked. I knocked and he opened the door frustrated told me to never knock on the door. Then it's been a hour. My son asked me why I went out for so long and why he talked to me like that I explained the situation. He cut me off as I was talking and I finished what I said to my son before he rudely interrupted. Upon leaving my son ask that he never come back there. We talked on the way home and he told me this Dr asked a question he didn't know the answer to and the Dr said are you dumb or just stupid. My son agreed he wouldn't say anything to me but told me. This man should nit be around chikdren. How dare him!! I'm filing a complaint

! My brother in law has Alzheimer's which has been confirmed by 5 other doctors, multiple scans, ex-rays, you name it, and this man won't acknowledge that he has Alzheimer's & says he's depressed!!!! So seeing this man supposedly works for the state, he won't sign off on his Soc Sec Disability! He hasn't been able to work for 2 years. He doesn't know what that is. It takes him an hour to put on shoes & socks, he can't talk, can't barely walk, can't drive anymore, barely speaks, shakes like a rattle! This doctor has no business in practice! My sister says, come stay with him for a day & you'll see how he can't function anymore! He used to be a productive member of society, and he's a veteran! He deserves that Social Security Disability! My sister is trying to keep everything going with her work, but pretty soon the money will run out. This is nuts & the craziest things I've observed. DO NOT go to this doctor!!

Dr. Weiss works for the Social Security Administration determination office. My husband has an aggressive form of early onset Alzheimer's and is in kidney failure. Neurologist, Nephrologist, Cardiologist, General doctor and Swedish Hospital in Seattle all have written letters stating their diagnosis and this psychologist says my husband is fine. He has denied my husband twice now. My husband is a veteran and worked over 30 years. It infuriates me that all of the doctors are on the same page except for this buffoon and he and whoever is sitting behind the SS desk determine whether or not my husband gets his disability. His comment to me a couple weeks ago was, 'We don't know where to put him.' I'll continue to fight for my husband.

I had a psychological evaluation with Dr. Weiss, as a required part of applying for assistance. I had a panic attack afterward due to how bad the experience was.- The Chkalov office is extremely difficult to find.- His name is listed incorrectly on the sign on the building (it says 'William Weiss'), with no suite number listed, so it's additionally confusing trying to figure out if you've even got the right place.- The door into the building is locked, and there's a handwritten sign saying if you're there for Dr. Weiss, to text the number written. I did. It still took him over ten minutes to come out. - He was very unprofessional and cold toward me, and made me feel extremely uncomfortable.- I felt like the evaluation didn't go well at all (to actually learn anything about me) because I was struggling so much with all of the above, most importantly his coldness, so all of my answers were affected by that.

had a social security mandated appointment, Dr. Weiss was a joke and a half as he thaught i was gender confused, and that i should think about transitioning, (completely irrelivant to my disabilities).My Appointment was with him at his Chehalis office, he then tells you his report will be done by the end of the week, its now been 2 weeks and still nothing. his main phone number is disconnected, tried his cell number and no response, all in all this doctor is a complete wack job

He recommends drugging children, won't let you get a sentence out without interrupting and over explaining, has no business dealing with children!!!! NEVER LET HIM WORK WITH YOUR CHILD!

Brought my daughter in...God forbid...inadvertingly tardy, subsequently refused to spend evaluation time...extremely disappointed with (my perception) his pompous attitude...bluntly, stay away (!)
