Would you put a 7 year old in an Uber? Peter C Thomas PC would. My child was scheduled for a two-part PsychEd evaluation on two days, one day apart. After checking my child out of school and arriving for our second appointment, Peter Thomas was no where to be found, The office staff tracked him down by cell phone. He apologized that there was a mix up however he would not be available. I reminded him that we had just confirmed this with him the day before. He acknowledged the error and apologized. I told him that I had taken time off from work and that I checked my child out of school for this important test. He then said, "I will be happy to pay for an Uber to take your child back to school." Dumbfounded, I repeated his offer, "You want to pay to put my 7 year old child, unaccompanied in an Uber?" He then said, "Some families would be comfortable with this." No, sir. No rationale parent would ever put a 7-year old in an Uber, unaccompanied.

He recently evaluated my child. This was the third time we have been through this and the best explanation of the results we've ever had. Dr. Thomas summarize the results in a way that made the results easily understood. we came away with a better understanding of our son's strengths and how we could capitalize on them to address his disabilities.

He helped me develop the tools I needed in my life to be happy and successful. He is very patient, kind, honest, ethical, and skilled at his craft. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Thomas evaluated my children because they were struggling in school and we knew they needed more than their school was offering. The diagnoses and recommendations in his psycho educational reports were spot-on. He helped us as we applied our kids to schools that could meet their special needs. He spoke with the admission directors and worked with us throughout the whole process. With his help they are all doing well now.

Dr. Thomas is professional, caring and incredibly experienced. He has helped our family with two children with special needs. From help with learning disabilities to social and emotional development, he has been a consistent voice of wisdom and our family's mental health is in a good spot due in large part to his help.

It has meant a lot to know that Dr. Thomas is only a telephone away when I’ve needed to speak with him about my daughter who he works with. His calm manner and good advice has gotten us through some very tense moments.

Best psychologist in Atlanta! He has done wonders for our family.

Avoid at all costs, this man is only interested in his fees (which are outrageous). Definitely do not use for Psych-ED testing, there is a reason why he is easy to get in to see. He provided us with invalid results that we were not able to use at a cost of >$4000.
