Dr. Paul Day, OD

I was always treated very kindly by him and his staff. He was never rude or abrupt. I followed him from Crystal River office because he was always nice and friendly but always professional.

There is something wrong with this man, I went to him 2years ago and had extremely horrible experience, reported him and left bad reviews, unfortunately with my insurance I went back again treated extremely bad , put the eye chart up for half a second for me to read took it right back down and called me blind, i had no time to even look at it, fortunately 2024 my insurance changed and i went to another dr who gave me a proper eye exam and new glasses, he needs to loose his license go back to Australia and treat the women there as ignorantly as he does here

My appointment on December 23 with Dr. Day was a horrible experience!He was very rude. Dr Day would not let me complete a sentence regarding my eyes. When I again tried to clarify something about my medical records, he rudely interjected, “I’m not interested in anything you have to say, only what is written on your records,” and then continued on to say, “I don’t want to have you as a patient and, I want you to get out of my office!”So I got up and left, and he followed me into the waiting room where there were many people and staff and he yelled, “take her record off our computers, I don’t want her in my office, she’s balmy.”This whole incident was only about three or four minutes long, but leaves a very negative lasting impression of Dr. Day and the facility where he works.
