What stood out? was she did not listen to me and even when I told her I had Cauda equina syndrome she responded oh well most people get over that. That is not a true statement at all. When I was describing how my bowel and bladder works especially when I'm out in the woods trying to live my life, she said that now I can relate to how women are in the woods. Very unprofessional. She had access to a current letter from a board certified neurosurgeon that stated my condition, and states it is severe because this is a spinal cord injury, she disagreed with his statement and wrote her own which was completely inaccurate and stated it was a mild condition, lessening my rating and affecting my VA benefits. I do not see how she can be doing practice and impacting peoples lives like this.

Went to see Dr. Lightfoot because I was suffering from an ulcerated stomach. Rather than trying to help by getting to the real issue, not even testing for H. Pylori, she announced that I was obese and drank alcohol so I must have gerd and that it was my own fault. Then she asked how I would like it written in my paperwork and coding as eating or drinking too much as the cause. I left in tears.Here I am 2 years later with the same condition though I no longer drink and have lost weight. I'm now looking for a doctor who will listen and act rather than dismiss and insult.I've never had a worse Dr. appointment in my nearly 60 years!

Patricia Lightfoot is one of my favorite providers. I feel so fortunate that she's part of my care team. She listens carefully, is very experienced, kind and professional. She's thorough and makes sure you have the advice, tests, treatments and necessary medications, and makes adjustments where needed. I've learned so much from her.

I have never left an appointment feeling so frustrated and unheard. She kept dismissing my concerns and it seemed like she never read my file until she was in the room with me. She made a ton of suggestions of who I should see instead of her and it seemed like she had no interest in helping me. She also made false diagnosis on my chart. I left the appointment in tears and will never return to her office.
